FriiiiiiYAY! Hello weekend! I hope you all had a lovely week. Are there any fun weekend plans out there?! We have a busy one ahead! Tonight we get to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday with all of Brady’s family in Salina. I’m definitely looking forward to that! Tomorrow, I will be working for the day and then spending the evening eating chili and watching the KU vs. Kentucky game with some friends. And on Sunday, we have our first VISION night for the church plant!! We’ve been anxiously awaiting this event so we can learn more about who God is leading to be on our team. SO exciting! 😀
As the tradition goes, Friday is a great day to reflect on the week and remember the blessings we had. Here are a few of mine! 🙂
- Total Health Transformation Group
My first challenge group of 2017 kicked off this week and I’m so pumped about it! We have an amazing group of ladies who are truly ready to see a transformation in their lives. I love these groups because they provide community while we go along our health journeys and you don’t have to go through the highs and lows alone. I have desperately been needing this accountability and I believe God has big things in store for this group!! If you’re interested in a future group, please comment below and I’ll give you more info!
2. I found my Fitbit Charger!
With our move, I thought I had last my Fitbit Blaze charger and have been too lazy/determined to find it for the past month. I was SO EXCITED to find it at my parents’ house over the past weekend. It came at the perfect time, too! Watching my heart rate during workouts is a great motivator!
3. She Reads Truth
I have been using the She Reads Truth study books for about a year now and truly love. I don’t know how many times I’ve recommend them to people! I’m on the auto-ship program (BIG money saver!!) that makes it so easy to follow along with the community online. They are beautifully made and piece Scripture together in a way that helps you grow deeper in your understanding. With our move, my last shipment made it to the wrong house and I just got this book back in my hands on Monday. It has been a breath of fresh air!
Are you a Lara Bar fan?! I found this version at Aldi and they are delicious! They ring in at about $1 less a box and I’m hoping they get more flavors in soon! I also have one of these in my purse so that I can have something healthy when hunger strikes.
5. Baked Chicken Parmesan and Zoodles
I really love trying new recipes and getting to cook for my husband. 🙂 His affirmations while he eats make it all worth it! I told someone this week that he will make you feel like the best cook ever. 😉 This week we tried a super easy Chicken Parmesan recipe, and my handy dandy spiralizer made it’s appearance. This meal came together in about 30 minutes, was healthy, didn’t require too many ingredients, and was truly delicious! Give it a try. 🙂
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
